Omooba Adetoro Adeola Alimot Brings Relief to Eti-Osa Residents Through Subsidized Food Initiative
During Christmas and New year holidays Residents of Eti-Osa Local Government Area were recently greeted with smiles and renewed hope as Omooba Adetoro Adeola Alimot rolled out a people-focused food support initiative aimed at easing the burden of rising living costs.
The initiative, organized by Inspire Lagos Food Market in partnership with Eti-Osa Local Government, made essential food items available to residents at 50 percent below prevailing market prices. The intervention drew wide participation from both sellers and buyers, creating a lively and inclusive marketplace atmosphere marked by gratitude and relief.




























Participants expressed joy at the opportunity to purchase more food items at affordable rates, noting that the subsidy significantly reduced household pressure and enabled families to stock their homes with essentials during challenging economic times.
The programme aligns with the vision of the Eti-Osa Local Government Chairman, whose administration remains committed to supporting residents through practical, people-centered interventions that directly address hardship and improve quality of life.
