WARRI AGAIN 2026: THE NIGHT WARRI PUTS NIGERIA’S ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY ON ONE STAGE
With Odumodu Blvck, Zlatan, Shallipopi, Fave, Mavo and a wider cast of established and emerging stars, Warri Again returns for its 25th edition with a bigger question: can entertainment become a city’s cultural export?

WARri is preparing for another night when music, comedy, celebrity and culture converge. On October 2, 2026, the city will host the 25th edition of Warri Again, an event that has grown from a regional entertainment gathering into one of Nigeria’s most recognisable annual showcases.
This year’s edition carries the theme “Symphony of Oneness” and will take place at the Brownhill Coliseum in Warri, Delta State. But the significance of Warri Again extends beyond its artiste lineup. For more than a decade, the event has attempted something that Nigerian entertainment increasingly understands: a city can turn its cultural personality into a brand.
Warri has always had a distinctive voice — its humour, music, street culture, confidence and unmistakable language. Warri Again has turned that personality into an annual gathering.
THE GUEST STARS
The 2026 lineup already promises serious star power. The official event platform highlights Odumodu Blvck, Zlatan, Shallipopi, Fave and Mavo among its featured artists. The broader published lineup includes established names and newer voices such as Seyi Vibez, Fido, Pheelz, Spyro, Nasboi, Famous Pluto and Zerry DL. Veterans including M.I, Iyanya, Rudeboy, Duncan Mighty and Ice Prince are also listed. That mixture is important. Warri Again is not relying solely on nostalgia. It is placing Nigeria’s current street-pop generation alongside artists whose careers have already crossed multiple eras of the country’s music industry.
MORE THAN MUSIC
The event’s identity has always extended beyond music. Comedy, dance, cultural expression and celebrity appearances form part of the Warri Again experience, allowing the show to operate as something closer to a cultural festival than a conventional concert. That formula has helped the event build a reputation beyond Delta State. Previous editions have attracted major Nigerian artists and prominent figures from business, entertainment, government and sports. The 2024 edition, for example, brought performers including Davido and Phyno to Warri, where they also visited the palace of the Olu of Warri.
THE BIGGER IDEA
There is a bigger story here. Nigeria’s entertainment economy is increasingly decentralising. Lagos remains the country’s dominant entertainment capital, but events such as Warri Again demonstrate that audiences do not have to travel to Lagos for major entertainment experiences. Cities can build their own cultural calendars. They can attract visitors. They can create hospitality demand. They can give local businesses new customers. And they can turn cultural identity into economic activity. That may ultimately be one of Warri Again’s most important contributions.
THE 2026 TEST
The organisers say the event has attracted more than 60,000 attendees across previous editions and has featured more than 200 artists over its history. The 2026 edition now has the opportunity to demonstrate whether that momentum can be converted into a sustainable entertainment ecosystem for Warri and the wider Niger Delta. The question is no longer whether Warri can host a big concert. It clearly can. The bigger question is whether Warri can own a cultural event that becomes internationally recognised as part of Nigeria’s entertainment calendar. On October 2, the music will provide the spectacle. But behind the spectacle is a more interesting story: A city using entertainment to tell the world who it is. And this year, Warri is calling it “Symphony of Oneness.”
