Eti-Osa Local Government Presents ₦6 Billion+ 2025 Budget to Legislature
The Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Omo-Oba Adeola Adetoro Alimot, has formally presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill, valued at over ₦6 billion, to the Eti-Osa Local Government Legislative Council, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to sustainable development and inclusive governance.
In her budget presentation, the Chairman outlined a comprehensive development agenda focused on addressing the critical needs of residents across the local government area. Key priority sectors highlighted include infrastructure development, environmental sustainability, healthcare delivery, education, youth employment, and digital transformation.
Infrastructure Development
A significant portion of the 2025 budget is allocated to the construction and rehabilitation of roads, drainage systems, and public facilities aimed at improving connectivity, reducing flooding, and enhancing the overall quality of life within Eti-Osa communities.














Environmental Sustainability
The Chairman emphasized intensified environmental sanitation initiatives, waste management improvements, and climate-responsive interventions designed to promote a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient local government.
Healthcare & Education
Strengthening primary healthcare delivery remains a central focus, with plans to upgrade health facilities, expand access to medical services, and improve staff welfare. The education sector will also benefit from school renovations, learning materials provision, and capacity-building programs to ensure a conducive learning environment for students.
Youth Employment & Digitization
In line with her administration’s vision for an economically empowered youth population, the budget makes provision for skills acquisition programs, entrepreneurship support, and job creation initiatives. Additionally, digital transformation projects are planned to modernize local government operations, enhance service delivery, and promote transparency through technology-driven solutions.
Speaking during the presentation, Omo-Oba Adeola Adetoro Alimot reiterated her dedication to prudent financial management and inclusive growth, noting that the 2025 budget reflects the aspirations of Eti-Osa residents and aligns with broader development goals of Lagos State.
Members of the Legislative Council commended the Chairman’s forward-looking approach and assured stakeholders of due legislative consideration to ensure effective implementation of the proposed projects for the benefit of the people.
