Banky W Reflects on Journey into Pastoral Ministry
Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has reflected on his transition into pastoral ministry, recalling how he once joked about the meaning of his nickname, P.Banks.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the singer revealed that he used to say the letter “P” in P.Banks stood for “Professor” rather than “Pastor.”
“I used to joke that the ‘P’ in P.Banks stood for Professor, not Pastor. I guess God heard,” he wrote.
His reflection comes as he embraces a new chapter in his life, moving further into ministry alongside his established career in music and entrepreneurship.
